The Rangers are on the Move!

Hi Everyone,

As many of you know, they are closing down the Elendilmir servers along with others.  Landroval will remain open and the Dunedain of Ithilien will keep their spots there. We can move the Rangers from Elendilmir to another server so that we don't lose the kin, our houses, etc.  In order for us to keep the kinhouse, we need me to move first, then the rest of you can join me after. I will announce on this forum when I make the move. I am currently monitoring Elendilmir daily to see when we can move. If you placed decorations in the kinhouse, they will go to your escrow account after the move. Just go ahead and replace them, or I'll redecorate!  I do not plan to go to Bullroarer first unless they force me. Instead, Arduron, Laerlin, and I decided we would move the kin to Crickhollow. Watch for in-game mails. I will also facebook and email any of you for whom I have contact info. Some of you will get texts! Shocking, I know....

Let me know of any concerns or issues. We are talking about a new influx of members from Tom's LOTR class this Fall. We're trying to get more people active in the kin. You will see me on 3-5 times a week so that we can manage this. Come on in game and chat! Let me know if you want to grow the kin on Landy or on Crickhollow. I think we should all play a bit on Crick to see which server is best. After the migrations, the worlds should all become more crowded. Arduron's thought is that we are competing with a lot of other RPers of the same ilk on Landy, and Crick might prove more fun, but many of us are invested in characters at level cap on Landy. Any opinions are appreciated.

Remember that in order to automatically transfer into the kin, you need to wait until Gaiagil transfers first. Then, when you transfer, you will be automatically put back in the rangers. I will post an announcement here and text you when I successfully move the kin. They did open the transfers for a short time yesterday, but glitches remain. I am waiting for those to be resolved before moving.

Hey everyone,

 

Last week, I accidentally joined the Arkenstone server because I misunderstood the last post in the Elendilmir website. Someone who used to be in the kin was just inviting people to his kin on Arkenstone. Haha, leave it to me to mess things up, its another week before the game will allow me to move all my characters again.

 

I never made the move to Landroval from Elendilmir and forgot I had saved the link this website so kind of jumped the gun. I will see which server we are moving to and transfer then.
